Last salute to the Officer's Club
934th Airlift Wing Club members gather Saturday night for a final farewell to the wing’s 81 year old Officer’s Club. The 934th Airlift Wing was the last Air Force Unit to operate two separate clubs, the other being the Services Club which is on base. All services that were offered at the Officer’s Club are now available to club members at the Services Club. The Officer’s Club was closed because of declining membership, cost of maintenance and the difficulty in providing base level security to an off base facility. (Air Force Photo/Paul Zadach/Released)
