Strange bird
An E-3 Sentry AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) aircraft from Tinker AFB, Okla. made a rare appearance on the 934 AW ramp in July as part of a training mission. The aircraft provides all-weather surveillance, command, control and communications needed by commanders of U.S., NATO and other allied air defense forces.
