DTF trainees learn lesson in assumptions

Trainees Justin Hruby and Derek Spencer test the strength of their structure. Members of the 934th Airlift Wing Development Training Flight competed in a marshmallow challenge on May 5, at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Air Reserve Station, Minn. The challenge was to build the tallest free standing structure strong enough to hold a marshmallow and tested trainees on problem solving, making assumptions, and teamwork. Hruby and Spencer took second place with their free standing structure. (US Air Force Photo/Staff Sgt. Samantha Wagner)
