FSS takes volleyball crown Published Nov. 6, 2013 By Staff Sgt. Ted Stankiewicz 934th Force Support Squadron MINNEAPOLIS-ST PAUL AIR RESERVE STATION -- After a long stretch of ORI activities and a government shutdown to follow, the Fitness Center is excited about the return of the Base Sports Program for the development of more recreational activities for our hard working Reservists. The November UTA's Volleyball Tournament Saturday had an impressive turnout, and the energy levels were obviously high. Units represented were 96th Airlift Squadron, 27th Aerial Port Squadron, 934th Logistics Readiness Squadron and the 934th Force Support Squadron. FSS stole the trophy by winning four consecutive games in matches of the best 2 out of 3. The 96 AS came in a close second. All teams competed fiercely, and plans of returns for taking the trophy away are already in the making. The Fitness Center is looking forward to hosting future events as the 2014 Sports Program calendar develops.
