934th AW commander sends holiday message Published Dec. 12, 2012 By Col. Darrell G. Young 934 AW commander MINNEAPOLIS-ST PAUL AIR RESERVE STATION -- As Christmas approaches, I realize how hectic this time can be, but we should never be too busy to stop and reflect on, and be thankful for, our many blessings. Dawn and I are truly grateful for each and every one of you and the superb job you have done for this wing and your country in 2012. Much as the weather has its uncertainties, there is plenty of talk in the air about change and the future of the 934th Airlift Wing. I know that this continuing uncertainty about our future is hard on all of us especially at this time of the year. Knowing this, I promise to get any news I receive out to you as soon as I receive it. During this holiday season and throughout the New Year, take the time to look out for each other and spend some time talking with your fellow Airmen. This is the season to do something good and let them know you care. It has been an honor being your commander for another year, I continue to learn new things from you every day, as you are my expert advisors. Take care of each other and have a safe holiday and a fulfilling New Year!
