Local leaders see Air Force's future Published April 18, 2006 934 AW/PA Colorado Springs, Colo. April 12 -- Forty Minneapolis-St. Paul area civic leaders recently had a chance to tour the United States Air Force Academy and Cheyenne Mountain Complex in Colorado Springs as part of a Civic Leader Tour sponsored by the 934th Airlift Wing, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Air Reserve Station. The leaders were given tours of the facilities and heard briefings about the command structure and the men and women who run the operations. Tour attendees are able to share their experiences and knowledge gained about the Air Force with fellow community members when they return.
