Eric Johnson 934th Maintenance Squadron Minneapolis, St. Paul -- The squadron had 15 people return from a two week deployment to Puerto Rico in support of Operation Coronet Oak. Congrats to Master Sgt. Pete Desanctis (Avionics flight) who received the Air Force Achievement Medal, first oak leaf cluster, as well as the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal for volunteering over 1,000 hours of his time to his local American Legion. Congrats to Senior Airmen Tyler Koonst and Chris Berens (fabrication flight) who both were awarded Achievement Medals. Airman Koonst also received the Lt. Gen. Leo Marquez Award. Master Sgt. Tom Donnelly (Electro/Environmental) and Staff Sgt. Matt Henry (propulsion) reenlisted. Staff Sgt. Chris Kinney (avionics) put in his last UTA in March with the 934 MXS, before moving on to join the 305th Rescue Squadron as an Air Reserve Technician at Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz. Master Sgt. Dan Pekel, is taking a civilian job in the Civil Engineer Squadron.
