Be ready for reenlistment

Minneapolis-St. Paul -- A person in the Air Force Reserve may reenlist six months prior to their expiration of their enlistment unless an Airman is on a bonus.

If a reservist is currently receiving a bonus, and the career field they are reenlisting in is currently a bonus, they must wait until 30 days prior to their ETS. Reenlistments can be from two to six years only.
