Veterans Day ceremonies planned

The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs hosts the 2010 State of Minnesota Veterans Day Ceremony Thursday, Nov. 11 at the Veterans Memorial Community Center, 8055 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights, Minn. Free breakfast at 8 a.m., program at 10:00 a.m.

Hastings High School will honor and recognize the service and sacrifices of all veterans with a ceremony Nov. 11 at 9:30 a.m. in the School Gymnasium.
It is an hour-long program that includes a Presentation of the Colors by representatives of each branch of the military. The family of Lieutenant General James G. Sieben will be the featured speakers in honor of Lieutenant General Sieben and the Sieben family's contributions to the military and Hastings community.
