Who has been a key influence in your career? "A past Squadron Commander who saw what she liked in a new kid showing up right after 9/11 with a lot of knowledge in Law Enforcement. With this knowledge the squadron was able to meet it's new challenges in an ever changing world."

What is your idea of a key to success? "Not allowing yourself to become mediocre. I always have people in my life, personal or professional who constantly push me to do more and what is right. Find people who have high expectations, surround yourself with them and you will always remain at the top. "

What do you do in your spare time? "In good weather ride my bike on the lakefront in Chicago. Spend time at two VA facilities in the Chicago area helping out. ."
