PAUL AIR RESERVE STATION -- Conner Simms was sworn in to the chaplain corps April 12 by Chaplain (Maj) Lawrence Blake, in a ceremony at St. Thomas College in St. Paul. Simms will be assigned to the 934th Airlift Wing starting in May. He will later attend the Commissioning Officer Training School where he will receive his training and earn his commission. Simms, who is a native of Florida, has recently been working as a chaplain at Regions and Gillette Children's hospital in the Twin Cities. He is a welcome addition as there is currently a shortage of chaplains throughout the Air Force.
