27 APS loads humanitarian cargo bound for Iraq

As part of the Denton program, the 27th Aerial Port Squadron loaded more than 43,000 pounds of food Jan. 13 aboard a C-17 at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Air Reserve Station, Minn. The aircraft is assigned to Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The Denton program, named after Senator Jeremiah Denton, uses space available on military aircraft to deliver humanitarian cargo worldwide.
