934 AW Airmen, Family, and Friends,

My wish for you this Thanksgiving is that you have a restful and enjoyable day with your family and friends and that next week you come back to us full of energy for the December drill.  Before you dig in to your turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce tomorrow, please pause to reflect on all for which we have to be thankful.  Take time to recharge, reconnect, and of course remember our 103 wing Airmen who are spending their holiday season deployed overseas.

If you're travelling this weekend, please remember to take the normal winter weather precautions and if you're drinking, please do it in moderation and with a designated driver.  We want to see everyone back safe and sound on Monday.

Finally, in light of recent events in France and Mali, I'd like each of you to stay attentive to your surroundings this season.  As you shop, eat out, or attend parades and sporting events this holiday season, maintain vigilance, avoid having too much to drink, and keep a good situational awareness.

Do have a very Happy Thanksgiving, and great start to your holiday season!

P.S. Wing staff refrigerator is accepting turkey leftovers on Monday!
