October issue of Citizen Airman is now online

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. --  The October issue of Citizen Airman magazine is available at http://www.citamn.afrc.af.mil. The cover story reminds reservists that even though state laws regarding marijuana use are changing, weed and the armed forces still don't mix.

Also included are stories about a team that is working to improve utilization of the air reserve component; a breast cancer survivor in Colorado and her adopted daughter, Grace; a Reservist who was selected one of the Air Force's 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year; four generations of Lockheed pilots who are carrying on the family tradition; a heroic World War II Airman who finally went to join his B-17 crewmates; a team of reservists who are spawning innovation within the Defense Department; the Air Force's Reserve's sponsorship of the Celebration Bowl college football game; and Alabama Reservists who traveled to Romania as part of a new partnership program.
